- Vintage: 2020
- Grape Varieties: Merlot, Mollard, Cabernet Franc
- Vineyard area: At 600 m altitude on the hillsides of Théüs
- Age of vines: More than 10 years for the Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and over 40 for the Mollard
- Winemaking: integral winemaking method, manual cap punching, aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
- Serving temperature: at room temperature (around 18°)
- A deep, intense colour with vivid violet highlights.
- The nose is complex and intense, full of jammy black and red fruit, soft spices (cinnamon, vanilla) and light notes of cognac and caramel with a few grilled and toasted notes...
- Superb structure. Powerful with marked, but very supple and silky tannins and great aromatic intensity with the same spicy notes as on the nose, plus black pepper, vanilla, and very ripe crushed raspberries, like a raspberry coulis. And on the finish, the freshness of citrus and the characteristic minerality (almost flinty in this wine) of the estate wines.
- A wine of great character that will express itself perfectly with a rib roast, a porcini mushroom risotto, or scrambled egg with truffles.
