- A brilliant, deep, clear ruby red, with violet highlights.
- A complex and very intense nose of red fruit such as Morello cherry, with a touch of black fruit and spices, peppery notes and a hint of liquorice.
- Magnificent structure for this delicate red wine. Silky, well integrated tannins and red fruit (cranberry, pomegranate, and dominantly cherry) with a slightly smoky, liquorice finish. A wine in which the terroir expresses itself in the varietal character of the grape.
- Lightly chilled it makes a great aperitif, and is the perfect pairing for mountain hams and sausage or mature cheeses from the Hautes Alpes. It also goes well with lightly spicy cuisine or roast meat with mushrooms. Perfect for sharing, its light fruitiness can accompany an entire meal and a multitude of culinary delights…
